Your gift ensures wildlife stays wild in SLO County!

Your gift toward Pacific Wildlife Care's Campaign for Wildlife moves us closer to the goal of securing a permanent home for our life-saving work for wildlife!

With widespread support from friends and supporters like you, we move ever closer to realizing our vision of a brand-new facility to better meet our mission to rescue and rehabilitate wildlife as well as educate our community about living compatibly with wild animals.

Pacific Wildlife Care serves between 2,600 and 3,000 wildlife patients annually, representing over 200 unique species. Most of these patients have been inadvertently affected by human interactions.

Pacific Wildlife Care (PWC) is proud to be San Luis Obispo County’s only organization licensed to rescue and rehabilitate injured, orphaned, sick, and pollution-damaged birds, land/air mammals and reptiles/amphibians with the goal of releasing back to the wild.

As a vital resource for the SLO County community and visitors alike who find wildlife in distress, PWC is a place of refuge where the public can rely on the highest standard of humane treatment of each patient until healthy enough to be returned to the wild.

Thank you so very much for your support of a permanent home for Pacific Wildlife Care's Mission: to support San Luis Obispo County wildlife through rehabilitation and educational outreach.
