Each spring, Pacific Wildlife Care sees a surge of orphaned and injured baby wildlife. Many arrive because of human-related causes: tree trimming that disrupts nests, attacks by domestic pets, vehicle strikes that leave young animals orphaned, or well-meaning but improper care. We care for all kinds of baby wildlife, like tiny songbirds, ducks, owls, hawks, opossums, squirrels, bobcats, foxes, and more!
This year, baby season started early...and we’re already caring for twice as many animals as we were this time last year.
That means more formula, more insects, more medical supplies, and more time spent feeding, cleaning, and caring for animals. Most of all, it means more lives depending on us to be ready. Your support helps provide the medical treatment, specialized feeding, and daily care these animals need to grow up healthy and wild, and return to where they belong.
This is what we’re here for, but we can’t do it alone. Give today to help us meet the surge in baby wildlife this spring and give each animal a second chance.
Double your impact! Thanks to $5,000 in matching funds from the Avila Community Foundation and an anonymous donor, your gift today will help unlock matching funds to support baby wildlife care. Every dollar helps us meet this critical need.
Make your impact last all year long! Baby season is more than a mere moment, it’s months of care. A monthly gift helps ensure we can continue providing food, treatment, and support for every animal that arrives.
Baby wildlife are depending on us, and we’re depending on you.
Thank you for being someone wildlife can count on.
